Personal Assistant to CEO global food company

Do you like to work in a dynamic and highly demanding environment where top level of service is required at all times? We are looking for a very professional and high performing talented PA for a company in an exciting new movement within the food industry. The nature of the role necessitates a full understanding that professional and personal agenda need to be effectively managed by the PA. For this position you provide proactive and high level support to the CEO and you work in a small and international focussed team. You interact regularly with an international network both inside and outside the business. You are able to manage your own time flexibly and effectively of course in accordance to the CEO's agenda. You keep him updated on relevant issues arising during his absence. It goes without saying that this requires a well-organised and structured way of working. For this position you should have an academic intellectual capacity and experience on Board level.

You are a mature and flexible type of person and you feel at ease in a global organisation. The CEO is available 24/7 for the company and expect this mindset from his Assistant too. It is a very challenging job with an international focus in a pleasant working climate. You will have a great deal of responsibility with endless opportunity for impact and freedom for initiatives.

In this role your focus will  be on traditional PA duties:
  • schedule and organise complex activities (meetings, events, etc);
  • manage and maintain CEO's calendar;
  • assistance with personal and travel scheduling;
  • screen, prioritise, respond to and redirect mail and e-mail;
  • ensure files and records are maintained and organised;
  • effectively plan the CEO's travel (domestic and international);
  • prepare expense reports;
  • proactively tackle issues related to administrative processes.

Gevraagd
  • academic intellectual capacity;
  • minimum 10 years' experience as PA/EA in a professional international services company;
  • experience on Board level;
  • fluency in Dutch and English is essential (English is the spoken languages in the office), an additional language is an advantage;
  • excellent MS Office skills;
  • entrepreneurial mindset;
  • high level of discretion and confidentiality;
  • stress resistance;
  • outstanding logistical, organisational, coordination and planning skills;
  • exceptional ability to prioritise tasks of high complexity;
  • ability to build relationships within an international network and with key stakeholders across different levels internally and externally;
  • flexibility regarding working hours is required due to the nature of the role, when needed support in evenings and weekends;
  • excellent written and oral communication skills are important.
