Legal & Compliance Assistant
Are you a Legal & Compliance professional who thrives on structure, accuracy and well-organised processes? In this part-time role, you will support the Legal & Compliance function of AMG Critical Materials N.V., working from a compact Amsterdam office within a large, internationally listed organisation. You act as a central point of reference for documentation, procedures and day-to-day coordination, ensuring that governance, compliance and office operations are organised to a consistently high standard. Your precision, political sensitivity, digital skills and professional presence enable you to operate confidently in a complex corporate environment and make you a trusted counterpart for both local colleagues and international stakeholders.
Over de functie
In this part-time role, you support Legal & Compliance leadership by ensuring structured documentation, reliable processes and effective internal coordination. You help maintain a solid administrative foundation and smooth office operations, while working closely with international colleagues in a politically sensitive corporate setting. With a strong tech-savvy mindset and an interest in AI, you also play an active role in digitalising and further modernising office processes and workflows.
Your responsibilities include:
- Secretarial and organisational support to the Legal & Compliance function;
- Coordinating documentation, files and meeting minutes;
- Supporting corporate housekeeping and basic filings;
- Monitoring administrative procedures and document flows;
- Managing notifications and core compliance documentation;
- Daily office management and coordination with suppliers;
- Supporting and coordinating with international teams;
- Organising and coordinating online training activities;
- Digitalisation, IT-enabled workflows and process optimisation.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in an international corporate environment, is socially astute and naturally takes responsibility. You bring:
- Strong communication skills and excellent command of English;
- Experience in an international corporate environment;
- Affinity with legal administration, corporate housekeeping and accurate documentation;
- High level of political sensitivity and organisational awareness;
- Strong digital skills and genuine interest in modern tools, systems and AI;
- Organisational talent with the ability to maintain overview and priorities;
- A professional, service-oriented and discreet work style;
- Experience planning and coordinating training activities;
- Availability of 24 hours per week, preferably including Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Note: A strong affinity with Legal & Compliance is essential for this position; equally important is demonstrable experience in management support within a corporate setting. Candidates without relevant management support experience will unfortunately not be considered.
